This years contest – best single semester improvement.

Example: If you failed all your classes last semester, your semester GPA should be 0.00. If you then aced everything this semester, your GPA for the semester would be 4.0. Your improvement would then be 4.0 points.

    The rules:

No college kids – you’re old enough to get credit cards and debt like the rest of us.

Your parents will need to be involved – getting stuff from weird old guys on the internet isn’t always cool.

Dates – The only two semesters we’re looking at are the one ending on or about 1/1/2010, and the one ending on or about 6/1/2010. I believe most places have report cards out before 6/15/2010, so we’ll put that as the tentative close date.

Membership – You must have been signed up at coloradowaterfowl.org, and made at least one post (not begging for decoys) prior to 2/1/2010.

Verification – Report cards from both semesters will be required. If the results are just too difficult to believe (like the example above) parents and/or teachers will be asked to confirm the improvement. If anything fishy is suspected, parents and/or teachers will be asked to confirm the improvement.

Tie Breakers – TBD, but it’s going to be something fun.

Rules – I can change/add to the rules as I see fit.

Prizes - Waterproof (Rodney) has offered up some goose calls. I’m trying to round up some decoys. We’ll see what we get.

    Hit the books kids!

Addition: If shipping is needed, I'll be taking care of it. Free stuff shouldn't cost money.

What if we get fabulous grades both semesters?

    That was last springs contest.

Keep it up though. Trust me when I say it's one of the things that really will pay off in the long run.

Stop surfing the internet and get back to studying.

I'll be cleaning out my trailer soon. I expect I'll find a few shells that will need a home.

Hitting the home stretch. I know it's hard to stay focused as the weather turns nice and the skirts get short.

Who thinks they're in the running?

Are report cards out yet? It's June. So far there have been no entries.

    No interest I guess.

    Watch for another next semester.
