I haven't been on this forum in a very long time. But I will chime in say that I'm really getting sick and tired of the guy who continually shows up and walks up and down the Platte River of some of these SWAs wearing blaze orange and sky busting at birds that are 5 times out of range scaring anything from flaring near my decoy spread. I've even hear this guy open fire well before legal to do so. Then again when I see fellow hunters up walking and splashing around the river or marsh, not wanting to remain concealed long enough to let birds come in, pisses me off just as much because real hunters should know better.

Truthfully I would not be surprises if some of these habitual wandering sky busters out on the Platte are nothing more than anti-hunting folks hell bent on interfering with legitimate legal hunters, all the whiles making it seem as though they are really out there to hunt. I've been around hunters and shooters all my life and can tell you that not many of them drive small Subaru sedans or other small vehicles in the field. I do have to wonder about a guy who simply dons a blaze orange hat and has little equipment and does nothing but sky bust.

You know what really chaps my hide? When someone decides to resurrect a 5 year old thread. Man, some people just have too much time on their hands. rotfl
