    Never been so happy to see a season come to a close! All or part of 14 days and only 3 close encounters (elk). I am tired, physically and mentally. Time to move onto waterfowl!

    I hear you Jeff!! I also stacked on 8 grueling days of unsuccessful moose hunting in N. Alberta and right now I don't even want to look at my bow!!
    Tough year so far!

    Did you go on a guided hunt up there? If so, do you mind if I ask with who? We are set to go next year with AWGS up there for moose.

    Edub, Yes went with an outfitter...but it wasn't your outfit. It was just a tough year, it seems for some reason most were struggling. success rates took a hit across the board for moose. the rifle hunters are probably going to clean up.
