This year is the most Doves that I have seen in a decade around here. Everyday as I head down to the Hay field 500 plus take off from the irrigation pond and Elm trees.
Enjoy the opener because it should be a good one. sniper

Gary, I have to agree on numbers. When we had the week of cold wet rain in August doves numbers were way down. I believe since then we have had many new birds show up. Yesterday in Morgan County the numbers were very impressive and should make for a great opening weekend.

Starting to see good numbers showing up in Colorado Springs. On the way home there was a tree packed full of them.

Greg you sound like several of my other friends but today as I was headed to the Hay field to pick up 3rd cutting bales the numbers were just insane, they will all not fly off by tomorrow and we are going to keep a few from landing on rescue boats in Texas this year. sniper
