    What a fantastic tribute Chris.

What a great partnership you two had. Jack is a once in a lifetime dog and you two made the very most of the time you had - I am sorry it wasn't much, much longer.

Words can't describe how awful that must have been. A few of us have lost great dogs this year and there isn't a whole lot that anyone can do to make the ache go away.

Keep the great memories in mind and smile every time that you think of one.

Smile when you think of their goofy traits; that made you smile whenever you saw them.

Treasure the tears in your eyes when you reflect upon the great times that you had together.

What a heartache and burden to bear. We love our dogs so much.

    Jack was a great one.

I have received this advice from several people and it really has helped change my focus. I am trying to celebrate what I had instead of mourning what I lost. There are still many little things that cause me to break down but every day is getting a little better. I have heard from people around the country that have followed my dog's journey. I had no idea he touched so many people. He was a difficult, strange, powerful little dog but he was mine and we were a great team. Things happen for a reason and I may or may not find out what that reason was but I trust in a bigger plan. Thank you all for the support. It really has helped!

    Chris
