Still a ton at the Golf Course. We'll be out there getting the kid used to the black powder and killing some birds.

rotfl rotfl Jake maybe you could get 11 pages of court case on here if you try the Golf Course with the kids.
Doves might have learned from Ducks and Geese. Spend the hunting season within the City Limits. drink

Nah, this course has been closed for several years now and isn't in city limits. Can't even tell it was once a course. Ponds are good for ducks though, even some Whitetail on the property. Neighbors get a little pissy when we're shooting though but we make sure to call the Sheriff before we start so they're aware of us out there. Haven't been any issues since we started doing that.

I usually just use dove hunting as an excuse to scout for teal.

With these monsoons we have been having it just seems to blow them out. Dont ask me where they go, but doves seem to love it hot and dry.

I may shoot a few tomorrow, but probably will get out to our teal spot later this weekend.

Gary is always kind enough to invite me out to hunt Dove every year. This year was truly special as it was little man's first hunt! He of course didn't sleep but maybe a wink the night before and he was the first one up.

While we ended up with only 5, he got to see what Dad does when he gets up early to go hunting and I think he may be hooked for life!

Thanks again Gary! Always good to come out! Up next, GOOSE SEASON!!! cheers

Good photos but you did not get one of him sleeping on the blanket in the field next to you. Classic Young Gun on his first hunt. Always good to have you out and your welcome anytime.
