    What do you use?
I'm looking for a pack for 5-10 day backcountry hunts. Hopefully with a heavy load on the way out. A bow holder or the ability to lash one to the pack would be sweet...
I'm used to a military ruck with 60+ pounds, there's gotta be a better way!

Tom, keep your eye on camofire.com, they have had the Badlands 4500 on there several times. Great pack (and price) for what you want!

Or, if you want it right away, just call them and order one over the phone. If they have it, they will sell to you at the last sales price.

I am not impressed with the 4500 myself. I would try on other packs before buying. If you want, I have one that just sits for the purpose of using when my ol man or brothers want to come along and you are more that welcome to try it out.

Thanks for the offer Ray! What's your go to pack?

I am going to look at a few before I decide for sure, but I am leaning towards kifaru as I've heard great things from both hunters, and my old army buddies(grunts and green berets) who spend a lot of time in the mountains of Afghanistan...

Kifaru is made right in JCNENG's backyard in Wheatridge. Take a trip to their shop.
