If we are not familiar with a particular area or hunt, we will refer you to someone or another company who is. Our priority and concern is client satisfaction and success. Over the past several years the booking business has become increasingly competitive and many are hesitant in using an agent due to overselling and misrepresentation of outfitters. When booking a trip with Outdoor Passport, LLC you can be assured that there will be no overselling and that the ultimate decision in booking a hunt will be yours. We do not hide the phone number or name of the outfitter or professional guide being represented. In fact, we insist that a conversation or several conver-sations take place with the outfitter before any money is transferred. This way, specific details about the hunt can be covered by the outfitter and the client and it may clear up any misunderstandings that might have occurred in the initial booking process. And, if for some odd reason there is a personality conflict in these conversations, the hunt can be cancelled immediately without any problems. Bottom line is this – I have been on both sides of the equation. I have been a professional guide for 20 years and have also had the opportunity to hunt with many professional hunters and outfitters throughout the world. I know what it’s like to have a client show up in camp with false expectations based on what a booking agent sold them and I know what it’s like arriving in camp with false expectations based on what a booking agent sold me.
